About Ridge Road Station
Ever since we opened the Station, way back in 1992, our aim has been to make it the friendliest stop on the line— a place where kids of all ages, from grandchildren to grandparents, will enjoy visiting and will find the most wonderful trains, toys, gifts and Christmas things. Now, thanks to all our customers and friends, Ridge Road Station is the largest independent toy and Christmas store in New York State. We have something for everyone, as you'll see when you shop our 30,000-square-foot store. We offer great prices every day, and members of our Station Master Club can save even more. The RRS Flag
In celebration of our nation's independence, we raised the Ridge Road Station flag, the largest flag on the tallest pole outside of Texas. Our flag pole is 130 feet tall, weighs 10,000 pounds and is secured with 60,000 pounds of concrete 13 feet in the ground. The flag measures 30 x 60 feet and weighs 100 pounds!
Trains On The Move
In our Train Room, you'll see the finest G-gauge train layout east of the Rio Grande. The Ridge Road & Rochester Railway (the "RR&") is built on 2,000 square feet of beautiful landscape and runs five trains on 3,300 feet of track on four levels, through 14 tunnels and across 11 bridges. It's open and free to all our visitors. Outdoors, there's a high-speed track for our twice-yearly train races— fun family events for sunny Saturdays in May and September. More »
